LOCAL COMMUNITY
The benefits of volunteering in the wider community are immeasurable. It allows you to connect to the community and make it a better place. Not only is it good for your wellbeing, it allows you to practice important skills that can benefit your teaching career, such as teamwork, communication, problem solving and organisation. The most valuable skills you can bring to any volunteer effort are compassion, an open-mind and a positive attitude.
